My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
This daily Ankara tour from Zonguldak links the Black Sea coast with the Turkish capital in a single, carefully planned day. Leaving early from your hotel, you travel inland with a guide who introduces the history of the region on the road, then spend the day exploring the historic quarters of Ankara before returning to Zonguldak in the evening.
Ankara Castle crowns the oldest part of the city; its walls were rebuilt by Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks and Ottomans and today enclose a quiet district of traditional houses. Below it lie the Roman Bath, a large bathing complex from the third century AD, and the Temple of Augustus, which preserves one of the best-known Roman texts recording the deeds of the emperor. Hamamonu is a charming quarter of restored timber mansions, cafes and craft shops that shows how Ankara looked in Ottoman times.
The highlight of the day trip is Anitkabir, the monumental tomb of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder of the Turkish Republic, where the museum tells the story of the War of Independence. This daily excursion suits travellers based on the Black Sea coast who want to see the capital without changing hotels. Transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, hotel pick-up and drop-off, entrance fees and lunch are included; expect a long but relaxed day tour with plenty of time on the road.

Zonguldak to Ankara Capital Programme The day begins with an early morning pick-up from your centrally located hotel in Zonguldak. As you drive south towards the capital, your English-speaking guide shares background on the history and landscapes of the region, so you arrive in Ankara with a clear picture of what lies ahead. The city tour starts in the old town with a walk up to Ankara Castle, whose walls look out over the rooftops of the capital. You then visit the remains of the Roman Bath and the Temple of Augustus, two reminders that Ankara was once the Roman provincial centre of Ancyra. Next you wander through Hamamonu, a neighbourhood of carefully restored Ottoman houses and narrow streets, and stop for lunch during the day. The final visit is Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Ataturk, where you see the monumental tomb and tour the museum dedicated to the founder of the Republic and the War of Independence. After the sightseeing you board the vehicle for the drive back, and you are dropped off at your hotel in Zonguldak in the evening.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
