My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
6 Days Zonguldak City & Cooking Tour – Eregli, Hell Mouth Caves and Black Sea Waterfalls Private Tour
Highlights of the Zonguldak City & Cooking Tour
Zonguldak is a province of the western Black Sea coast in northern Turkey, shaped by coal mining, green hills and a seafood-loving kitchen. This six-day private programme takes you beyond the usual tourist trail, combining the history of Karadeniz Eregli, a hands-on cooking lesson, a traditional Turkish bath and a day among forest waterfalls. You stay five nights in a hotel in Zonguldak, with arrival and departure transfers from Zonguldak Airport, a professional English-speaking guide and air-conditioned non-smoking transport throughout.
The city day starts in Eregli at the Mining Museum, which tells the story of the industry that defines the region. You then explore the Hell Mouth Caves, linked in legend to the underworld, the Orhangazi Mosque, once the Hagia Sophia Church of the town, and the Halil Pasha Mansion, which now houses the Eregli Museum. Lunch is the famous Eregli pide, a flatbread whose reputation reaches far beyond the province. Along the way your guide introduces the local table: anchovies, black cabbage, stuffed lettuce, tarhana soup, corn bread, walnut-stuffed dolma, komec walnut bread and buffalo yoghurt.
On the third day a restaurant kitchen becomes your classroom as local chefs lead a hands-on lesson, where you learn regional recipes before eating them for lunch, followed by free time and shopping in the centre. Day four brings a hamam visit, scheduled around your wishes and the opening hours of the bath, with the rest of the day at leisure. Day five is spent outdoors at the Harmankaya and Degirmenagzi waterfalls near Zonguldak and the Gunesli waterfall in Eregli, ideal for short walks and photography, before more time to shop. Five buffet breakfasts and two local lunches are included.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
