This short Mediterranean break is built around three nights on an all-inclusive basis at a beachfront hotel in the Antalya region, so meals and drinks at the hotel are taken care of from the moment you check in. It is an easy way to add a few days of sun, sea and rest to a longer trip around Turkey, or to enjoy a compact holiday of its own. You are met at Antalya Airport or at the Antalya bus station and driven to your hotel in an air-conditioned, non-smoking vehicle, and on the last morning the same service takes you back for your onward journey.
The second day can be spent at the beach, or you can join the optional guided tour to two of the great ancient cities of Pamphylia, the fertile coastal plain east of Antalya backed by the Taurus Mountains. Perge was, according to the geographer Strabo, founded after the Trojan War; Alexander the Great passed through in 334 BC, the city later grew into one of the richest towns of the region, and St. Paul began his mission in Anatolia here in 46 AD. Aspendos, about 47 km east of Antalya, is famous for its Roman theatre, built in the reign of Marcus Aurelius and regarded as the best preserved of all ancient theatres, while the wider site also includes a stadium, an agora and a basilica.
The third day is completely free. Sleep in, swim in the clear sea, relax on the sand or head out to explore the city and its shops. If you prefer to stay active, the area offers plenty of day trips you can book locally, from rafting on the river, horse riding and paintball to snorkelling, diving, fishing trips and a day at an aqua park.
Included in the price are three nights of all-inclusive hotel accommodation, arrival and return transfers from and to Antalya Airport or the Antalya bus station, coach transportation and hotel room taxes. The Perge and Aspendos excursion and the other activities mentioned are optional and paid separately, as are flights, insurance, city tax, the Turkish entry visa, tips and personal expenses.

After breakfast you can stay at the hotel and beach, or join the optional guided excursion. The tour drives about 30 minutes to Perge, the ancient Pamphylian city where Alexander the Great passed through and St. Paul started his Anatolian journey, and later continues to Aspendos with a lunch break on the way. At Aspendos you see the remarkably well-preserved Roman theatre from the time of Marcus Aurelius and the remains of the stadium, agora and basilica. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Antalya.
No early start today. Spend the day enjoying the sunshine, the beach and the clear sea, wander into the city to shop, or choose one of the many optional activities available locally, from an aqua park and horse riding to rafting, diving and fishing trips. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Antalya.
After breakfast you check out of the hotel and are transferred to Antalya Airport or the Antalya bus station, where your holiday comes to an end.
