My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
3 Days Zonguldak Stay & Duzce Day Tour: Konuralp Museum, Akcakoca Castle, Fakilli Cave Private Tour
Highlights of the 3-Day Zonguldak and Duzce Tour
This short Black Sea programme uses Zonguldak as its base and dedicates one full guided day to the neighbouring province of Düzce, where ancient history, a cliff-top castle, an impressive cave and a rare wooden mosque can all be seen in a single outing. It is a convenient way to discover a part of northern Turkey that most visitors never reach, without changing hotels: you arrive at Zonguldak Airport, stay two nights in Zonguldak and fly out again from the same airport.
The sightseeing day starts at the Konuralp Museum, which sits on the site of Prusias ad Hypium, an important city of antiquity. From there the route heads to the coast near Akçakoca to see Akçakoca Castle, which stands on a cliff between two bays about 2.5 kilometres (1.5 miles) west of the town and is included on UNESCO's Temporary World Heritage List. Next comes Fakıllı Cave, a natural wonder made up of galleries branching in different directions and decorated with pendants, stalactites and stalagmites. The last visit is the Hemşin Mosque, built of wood in 1834 by the Ottoman Sultan Mahmut II and notable for its unusual architecture. After the tour you return to your hotel in Zonguldak.
The pace is relaxed and the programme suits travellers of all ages. A professional English-speaking guide accompanies the tour day, and all transport is in an air-conditioned, non-smoking vehicle, so you can simply enjoy the views of the Western Black Sea region between the stops.
Included are two nights of hotel accommodation in Zonguldak, two open-buffet breakfasts, lunch on the tour day, the guided Düzce city tour, arrival and return transfers at Zonguldak Airport, and hotel room, tour and transfer taxes. Flights, insurance, city tax, the Turkish entry visa, tips and personal expenses are not included.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
