Your first two days belong to Istanbul, where you step straight into the old city's icons — Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the ancient Hippodrome and the labyrinth of the Grand Bazaar. On day three you drive east to Cappadocia via Ankara, pausing at Ankara Castle and the world-class Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and skirting the shimmering Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü) along the way.

Cappadocia unfolds across the open-air rock churches of the Göreme Open-Air Museum, the fairy chimneys of Pigeon Valley and Monks Valley (Paşabağ). You then continue to Konya to visit the Mevlâna Museum, resting place of the poet Rumi, before reaching the dazzling white travertine terraces and Roman ruins of Pamukkale & Hierapolis. In Ottoman Bursa you explore the historic Grand Bazaar and the monumental Great Mosque (Ulu Camii).

On day seven you return to Istanbul for a final flourish — the fragrant Spice Market and a relaxing Bosphorus cruise between two continents — before your day-eight departure transfer.
