From Didim
The daily Didim jeep safari tour swaps the sunbed for a jeep ride into the countryside, turning an ordinary holiday day into a lively off-road adventure. This day tour leaves straight from your hotel in Didim, climbs into the mountains behind the coast and fills the hours with dusty tracks, splashing water and plenty of laughter before bringing you back in the early evening.
Didim is best known for Altinkum beach and the ruins of ancient Didyma, but the hills rising behind the town offer a very different landscape of rough dirt roads and rural tracks. On this daily excursion the jeeps travel in convoy, and the fun builds as the route leaves the asphalt and heads into the mountains. Expect sections that are dry and dusty, others that are wet and muddy, and playful water battles with the neighbouring vehicles. It is less about sightseeing and more about shared excitement, which is why it is popular with families, groups of friends and anyone looking for a break from the beach.
As a Didim day trip it needs little preparation, but a few things help: wear clothes and shoes you do not mind getting soaked or muddy, keep your phone in a waterproof pouch and bring sun cream and a hat. Our English-speaking guide stays with the group throughout. Lunch is part of the day, while any food or snacks you buy at the fresh food stop are at your own expense. If you are after an active, light-hearted outing, this is a memorable daily tour from Didim.

Didim Jeep Safari Programme Your guide meets you in the lobby of your hotel in Didim in the morning, and the safari gets under way at 09:30 as the jeeps pick up guests from the hotels in the area. Early in the drive the convoy pauses for about fifteen minutes so you can buy fresh food and snacks for the journey. From there the real adventure begins: the jeeps leave town and head into the mountains, swapping smooth roads for rough off-road tracks. Throughout the day you bump along dusty paths, splash through wet and muddy stretches and take part in good-natured water fights between the vehicles, so it pays to be ready to get soaked. Lunch is included as part of the day, giving everyone a chance to rest and refuel before the convoy continues its route through the hills. The off-road driving delivers a steady mix of thrills and laughter rather than formal sightseeing. The jeep safari comes to an end at around 18:00, after which you are transferred back to your hotel in Didim.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
