My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
4 Days Didim City & Cooking Tour – Priene, Miletos, Didyma and Turkish Cuisine Private Tour
Highlights of the Didim City & Cooking Tour
This four-day private programme pairs the great classical sites of the southern Aegean with a morning in the kitchen. Your base for three nights is Didim, a resort town on the Aydin coast that sits within easy reach of three of the most important ancient settlements of the region: Priene, Miletos and the oracle sanctuary of Didyma. Arrival and departure are handled through Milas Bodrum International Airport, with transfers included both ways.
The sightseeing day starts at Priene, a town that once stood on the shore but now lies about 16 km from the sea on the slopes of Mount Mykale. Its theatre is counted among the finest of the Hellenic world, and the Temple of Athena Polias was funded by Alexander the Great. From there the route continues to Miletos, one of the largest cities of ancient Anatolia and a key stop on the old trade routes, where the visit also includes the Miletos Museum. The final stop is Didyma, which was never a city but a vast sanctuary of Apollo, once one of the largest temples of the Greek world.
Day three is devoted to food. At a local restaurant you join a professional cooking lesson focused on dishes the Didim area is known for: tarhana soup, vine leaves stuffed with spiced rice and dressed in olive oil, and fresh fish. The cook also introduces the fig dessert that is widely made in the district. Lunch is the meal you have just prepared, after which you have some hours to browse the shops of the town centre and then return to the hotel.
The package covers three nights of hotel accommodation in Didim, three breakfasts and one lunch, a professional English-speaking guide, transport in an air-conditioned non-smoking vehicle, the guided city tour and the cooking lesson, all entrance fees listed in the programme, and hotel, tour and transfer taxes. Flights, insurance, the city tax and personal spending are not included.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
