The daily Bodrum SUV off-road safari from Didim is an adventurous day tour into the quiet eastern countryside of the Bodrum peninsula, far from the busy marinas and beach clubs. This daily excursion combines dirt tracks through forest and hills, traditional village scenery, a countryside lunch and a refreshing swimming stop, all guided in English with transfers to and from your hotel in Didim.
East Bodrum is the greener, less developed side of the peninsula. Its slopes are covered with pine and maquis, dotted with olive groves and small farming hamlets, and the coastline breaks into calm coves. Yaliciftlik is a small seaside settlement facing the Gulf of Gokova, while Kargicik is known for its clear, shallow bay, a pleasant place to cool off after the dusty tracks. Etrim is one of the old inland villages of the region, traditionally associated with rural life and hand-woven carpets; driving through it gives you a glimpse of the Bodrum that existed before tourism. Camlik, whose name means pine grove, offers a shady spot for the lunch break.
The appeal of this Bodrum day trip is the feeling of adventure: bumpy forest roads, open views over the hills and the chance to see a rural side of the Aegean that most visitors never reach. It is a relaxed activity suitable for all ages, so families are welcome.
Practical notes: you are collected from your hotel in Didim by an air-conditioned, non-smoking coach and driven to Torba junction near Bodrum, where the group switches to the SUVs. Lunch is included. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sun cream and clothes you do not mind getting dusty. The return to Didim is planned for between 4 pm and 5 pm, making this daily tour from Didim an easy full-day outing.

Bodrum Countryside SUV Safari Programme The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Didim in an air-conditioned, non-smoking coach. We travel south towards the Bodrum peninsula and meet the rest of the group at Torba junction, where everyone climbs into the SUV vehicles. From here the off-road part of the day starts: the convoy heads into the eastern countryside of Bodrum, following tracks past Yaliciftlik, Kargicik and Etrim Village and climbing through pine forest and rolling hills. Along the way you can enjoy the bumps of the dirt roads, the open views and the sense of exploring a quieter, rural corner of the Aegean. Around midday the group stops at Camlik, where lunch is served in a relaxed setting. Later the route continues to Kargicik Bay for a swimming break, giving you time to cool off in the sea and rest on the shore. After the safari you return by coach to Didim, arriving at around 4 pm to 5 pm, and are dropped off at your hotel.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
