This seven-day Formula 1 Istanbul holiday pairs the Turkish Grand Prix 2027 with two guided days in one of the world's great historic cities. You arrive on 28 September, explore the Old City and the Bosphorus first, and then spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Istanbul Park with return transfers organised from your hotel each day.
Istanbul Park sits on the Asian side of the city near Tuzla and Pendik, and drivers rank it among the most demanding modern circuits. Its signature is Turn 8, a long, fast left-hander with several apexes that loads the car and the driver's neck for seconds at a time. The track hosted the Turkish Grand Prix from 2005 to 2011, returned to the calendar in 2020 and 2021, and is set to welcome Formula 1 back in 2027.
This F1 tour package is built around the rhythm of a real race weekend: the first engine sounds on Friday, the tension of qualifying on Saturday and the crowds, strategy and pit stops of Sunday. Race tickets are bought separately, so you can choose the viewing area that suits you.
Before the engines start, your Istanbul tour days give you the city's Byzantine and Ottoman heritage, a relaxed afternoon on the water and some time for shopping, so the week feels like a proper holiday as well as a motorsport trip.

, where a transfer representative is waiting to welcome you and accompany you to your hotel in the city. Once you have checked in, the rest of the day belongs to you. After a long flight you may simply want to rest, but if you have energy left, step out for a first stroll through the surrounding streets and sit down to an introductory Turkish dinner at a local restaurant of your choice. No meals are included on arrival day, which keeps your evening completely flexible. Your accommodation is reserved for the whole stay, so you can settle in and unpack for six nights.
After breakfast your English-speaking guide collects you for a full exploration of the historic peninsula. The first stop is the Blue Mosque, famous for its cascading domes, slender minarets and thousands of hand-painted tiles; entry to the interior depends on prayer times and visitor arrangements on the day. A short walk brings you to the Hippodrome, the former arena of Byzantine chariot racing, where the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpent Column and the German Fountain still stand. Next comes Hagia Sophia, whose designated visitor area you enter with an included ticket while your guide explains nearly fifteen centuries of Byzantine and Ottoman history. The tour ends at the Spice Bazaar, where you have time of your own to wander between stalls piled with spices, teas, sweets and souvenirs. You are then driven back to your hotel. Lunch is at your own expense, and modest clothing is needed for the mosque visits.
Following breakfast you set off on a guided excursion focused on Istanbul's waterfront. There is no check-out today, as your room stays reserved for the whole week. Board a standard sightseeing boat on the Bosphorus and glide past Ottoman palaces, elegant wooden mansions, lively shoreline neighbourhoods and the great suspension bridges linking Europe and Asia, while your guide points out the landmarks along the way. Back on land, the vehicle takes you up to Çamlıca Hill on the Asian side, one of the best viewpoints in the city, with time to take panoramic photographs. The day closes with some shopping time at the Cevahir mall, one of Istanbul's largest, before you head back to the hotel. Lunch is not included, and the order of visits can change with traffic, weather and boat schedules.
Today the motorsport part of your trip begins. After breakfast, your driver picks you up at the scheduled time for the journey to Istanbul Park, with extra time built in for traffic and circuit entry. Transfer times follow the officially published event programme. You enter the venue with the admission ticket you have purchased separately and watch Friday's scheduled practice sessions, as teams fine-tune their cars on one of the most challenging layouts on the calendar. What you can see beyond the main sessions, such as support races, spectator zones and other activities, depends on the organiser's programme and your ticket category. When the day's running is over, meet your driver at the agreed collection point for the ride back to your hotel.
After breakfast you transfer back to Istanbul Park for Saturday's sessions. Qualifying is often the most intense hour of the weekend: every driver pushes to the limit for a single lap, and the grid for Sunday's race is decided in front of you. Feel the anticipation build through the day and follow any additional track activities on the published timetable, according to the access your ticket allows. At the agreed collection time your driver brings you back to the hotel, leaving the evening free to enjoy Istanbul independently, perhaps with dinner overlooking the water or a walk through one of the city's lively districts.
This is the day the whole trip has been building towards. After breakfast you travel to Istanbul Park and enter the circuit with your separately purchased race-day ticket. Settle into your chosen viewing area and follow the Turkish Grand Prix as it unfolds, from the formation lap and the start to tyre strategy, pit stops and the battle for the podium. Once the event is over, meet your driver for the return trip to the hotel; please be aware that post-race crowds and traffic can lengthen both waiting and journey times. Your last evening in Istanbul is free to celebrate the weekend however you like.
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel, then spend whatever time remains as you like, depending on your flight and the hotel's check-out rules. At the agreed time you are transferred to Istanbul Airport (IST) for your onward or homeward flight, bringing your week of history, Bosphorus views and Formula 1 action to a close. If your flight leaves later in the day, you can make the most of the morning with a last coffee or a final round of souvenir shopping nearby. Please note that all circuit sessions and transfer times throughout the package follow the final published event timetable.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
