Klassis Golf & Country Club Golf Day Your golf day starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Istanbul, followed by a comfortable drive in a fully air-conditioned, non-smoking vehicle out of the busy city towards Klassis Golf & Country Club. On arrival your English-speaking guide helps you settle in at this tranquil club, surrounded by stately oak trees and known as the only golf venue in Istanbul with its own hotel. The main part of the day is your round on the 18-hole championship course laid out by Tony Jacklin: 6,033 metres, par 73, with nine par-4s, four par-3s and five par-5s spread across a rugged, strategic landscape that has challenged players from around the world. As you play, you follow in the footsteps of the professionals who competed here at the PGA European Challenge in 1997 and 1998 and the PGA Seniors Tour in 1999. After your round there is time to relax and take in the green setting of the club, with lunch and refreshments available at your own expense. In the late afternoon you are driven back to Istanbul and dropped off at your hotel, refreshed after a day spent far from the noise of the city.
