My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
The Koycegiz market and mud bath tour from Dalyan is a relaxed day tour that mixes local shopping, a lakeside barbecue and a soak in natural thermal waters. On this daily excursion you travel by boat to the lakeside town of Koycegiz, browse its traditional market, then cruise along the lake for lunch on the shore and finish at the mud showers and hot springs of Sultaniye.
Koycegiz is a calm town on the northern shore of the lake that shares its name, surrounded by citrus groves and pine-covered hills. Its traditional market has long drawn villagers and visitors alike with fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing, household goods and gifts at friendly prices. Look out for sigla oil, a fragrant resin from the rare sweetgum (liquidambar) trees that grow in the Koycegiz area and that has been traded since antiquity. Local honey, olives and olive oil also make good souvenirs, and the older houses of the town give a glimpse of its traditional architecture.
Sultaniye Thermal Springs lie on the southwest shore of the lake and have been used for bathing since ancient times. Here you can coat yourself in mineral mud under the showers, rinse off and lower yourself into the warm spring water, or simply swim in the cooler lake if you prefer. As a Koycegiz day trip from Dalyan, this daily tour suits families, couples and anyone who wants a slower day with local flavour.
Practical notes: hotel pickup, return transfer, lunch and entrance fees for the listed stops are included. Bring cash for shopping, swimwear and a towel.

Koycegiz Market & Sultaniye Thermals Programme Your guide meets you in the hotel lobby in the morning and takes you to the boat, which sets off for Koycegiz on a pleasant ride of about 30 minutes across the water. On arrival at Koycegiz pier you have free time to explore the traditional market, where stalls offer fresh local fruit and vegetables, clothing, home goods and gifts, and where you can also find regional handicrafts and organic products such as honey, sigla oil, olives and olive oil. Your visit includes a chance to see the old Koycegiz houses, and the group meets again at an agreed time and place. Back on board, the boat cruises along the shores of Koycegiz Lake to a spot on the coast where the remains of a Roman-period prison can be seen, and the crew prepares a barbecue lunch here. After lunch you continue to the Sultaniye Thermals, where you can enjoy the mud showers and soak in the warm healing waters, or swim in the cool water of the lake instead. With time left for photographs, the boat then returns and you are transferred back to your hotel in Dalyan.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
