The Daily Fethiye Tuesday Market Tour from Dalyan is a guided day tour built around one of the liveliest weekly bazaars on the Turquoise Coast. After hotel pickup you travel about an hour to Fethiye to browse the stalls, stroll by the marina and seafront, explore the old quarter of Paspatur and finish at the abandoned village of Kayakoy. This daily excursion runs on Tuesdays, when the market is in full swing.
Fethiye's Tuesday market has long been a meeting place for villagers, residents and visitors. Laid out on both banks of a canal close to the marina, it fills with colourful produce, olives, spices, textiles and household items, all sold in a cheerful, bustling atmosphere at fair prices. It is a great place to pick up presents to take home or simply to watch daily life unfold. From the market it is a short walk to the harbour, where yachts line the quay and the seafront promenade invites a gentle stroll.
Paspatur is Fethiye's old quarter, a maze of narrow lanes, restored stone houses, small shops and cafes, where you also visit a gold centre displaying both modern and traditional designs. The last stop of this Fethiye day trip is Kayakoy, the former Levissi, whose Greek-speaking residents left during the 1920s population exchange. Hundreds of roofless stone houses and chapels still cover the hillside, offering a haunting glimpse of a town frozen in time. Lunch is not included, so bring cash for a meal in Fethiye, along with comfortable shoes and sun protection. The coach then returns you to your hotel, closing a full daily tour from Dalyan.

Fethiye Market, Paspatur & Kayakoy Programme Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Dalyan, followed by a drive of roughly one hour to Fethiye in an air-conditioned, non-smoking coach with an English-speaking guide. The first stop is the famous Tuesday market, set along both sides of a canal near the marina. Take your time wandering between stalls piled with seasonal fruit and vegetables, clothes, textiles, household goods and souvenirs, and enjoy the friendly bargaining and busy atmosphere that have drawn locals and visitors for years. Nearby, the marina and seafront offer a pleasant spot for a walk beside the moored boats. Next you head to Paspatur, Fethiye's old town, with its narrow streets and historic houses, where the programme includes a visit to a gold centre presenting international and traditional jewellery. The final stop is the village of Kayakoy, where the deserted Greek settlement known as the Ghost Town spreads across the slopes, giving a moving insight into how a once thriving town was left behind. Afterwards the coach takes you back to your hotel in Dalyan.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
