My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
This 14-day Turkey tour pairs two weeks of sun on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts with a four-day gulet cruise along the Lycian shore and a short escape to the volcanic valleys of Cappadocia. Starting and ending in Bodrum, it blends lazy beach days, a traditional Turkish bath, sailing between hidden bays, a night in a tree house at Olympos and a guided day among the fairy chimneys. Hotel accommodation, breakfasts and dinners throughout, all meals on board the boat, transfers and guided touring are arranged, so this Turkey tour package is easy to enjoy as a private holiday for couples, friends or families.
The first days are spent in Bodrum, with a relaxing session in a Turkish hamam and an optional day trip to Dalyan, where a boat carries you to Iztuzu Beach, a nesting ground of the Caretta caretta sea turtles, and past the rock-cut tombs of ancient Caunos. You then drive to Fethiye and board your gulet for the blue cruise: Turunc Pinari, Butterfly Valley, the Blue Lagoon of Oludeniz and St Nicholas Island on the first day, Fimaz Bay near Kalkan, Kas and Limanagzi on the second, Ucagiz, Simena and Gokkaya Bay on the third, and finally Kekova with its Sunken City, the Pirates Cave, Demre harbour and the ancient city of Myra before you step ashore for a night in an Olympos tree house.
From Olympos a two-hour drive brings you to Antalya, and a flight to Kayseri opens the Cappadocia chapter. The guided tour covers Avcilar, Pigeon Valley, the Goreme Open Air Museum with its frescoed rock churches, Devrent Valley, Uchisar Castle and the pottery town of Avanos, with an optional sunrise hot air balloon flight for those who wish. You then fly back to Bodrum for a final free day to swim, shop in the local markets or choose from extras such as an aqua park, scuba diving or a fishing trip, before departing from Milas Bodrum Airport.
Your full program, day by day — click a day to see every stop.
Welcome to Turkey! Our driver meets you at Milas Bodrum Airport or Bodrum bus station and transfers you to your hotel. After check-in and receiving your room key, the rest of the day is free to settle in and get a first feel for Bodrum, with its white houses, marina and castle overlooking the bay. You might take an evening walk along the waterfront before dinner, which is included tonight. Overnight in Bodrum. Your guide or our representative will also give you a short briefing on the programme of the coming days and answer any questions about the cruise and the flights.
After breakfast you are taken to a traditional hamam for a true Turkish bath experience. Lying on the heated marble platform, you are scrubbed from head to toe by an attendant who removes dead skin, then treated to a foam wash and a relaxing massage that eases away the tension of travel. Afterwards you rest with a glass of Turkish tea and leave feeling completely refreshed. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the beaches, explore the streets of Bodrum or experience its famous nightlife. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Today you can relax in Bodrum or join the optional day trip to Dalyan, a small town that has kept its natural charm. A boat ride of around 45 minutes takes you to Iztuzu Beach, a 7-kilometre stretch of sand that is one of the last nesting grounds of the loggerhead sea turtle, Caretta caretta; between May and September the females come ashore to lay their eggs. The excursion also passes Caunos, an ancient port city founded around the 9th century BC that now lies inland because the Dalyan River silted up its harbour. Caunos is best known for its royal rock-cut tombs, carved high into the cliffs for kings and nobles who were buried with gifts for the afterlife. In the evening you are back at your hotel for dinner. Overnight in Bodrum.
After breakfast you check out and travel by road to Fethiye, a journey of around five hours through the green hills and pine forests of the Mugla region. On arrival you check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free to walk along the harbour, browse the old town shops or relax before tomorrow's cruise begins. Dinner and overnight in Fethiye. The road passes through Mugla province and along the edge of the Gokova region, offering pleasant views of the countryside on the way. Fethiye is also where tomorrow's gulet cruise sets sail, so it is worth packing a small bag with swimwear, sunscreen and a hat for the days at sea.
This morning you board your gulet, the traditional wooden Turkish yacht that will be your home for the next three nights, with all meals prepared on board. Sailing south along the coast, you stop at Turunc Pinari and then at Butterfly Valley, a narrow canyon opening onto a secluded beach, where you can swim in clear water. Later the boat calls at Oludeniz, the famous Blue Lagoon, and at St Nicholas Island, also known as Gemiler Island, scattered with Byzantine ruins. You spend the night on board, anchored in a quiet bay.
After breakfast on deck the gulet continues east along the Lycian coast. You anchor at Fimaz Bay near Kalkan for swimming and snorkelling, then sail on to Kas, a charming harbour town with narrow streets, cafes and ancient remains, where there is time to go ashore. The day ends at Limanagzi, a sheltered cove with crystal-clear water. Lunch and dinner are served on board, and you sleep on the gulet under the stars. The calm bays of this stretch of coast are ideal for jumping straight off the deck into the turquoise sea, and there is plenty of time to sunbathe while the crew handles the sailing.
Today's route leads to Ucagiz, a small fishing village set in a calm natural harbour, and on to Simena, where a castle crowns the hill above stone houses and Lycian sarcophagi stand right by the water. In the afternoon you reach Gokkaya Bay, a beautiful anchorage surrounded by small islands and rocky inlets, perfect for a swim or a canoe paddle. All meals are on board, and you spend the night on the gulet. Life on board follows a gentle rhythm of swimming, reading on deck and watching the coastline drift by, with the crew preparing fresh meals throughout the day.
On the final day of the cruise you sail over the Sunken City of Kekova, where the remains of ancient houses and stairways are visible beneath the surface, and stop at the Pirates Cave. The gulet then docks at Demre harbour, from where you visit the ancient city of Myra with its rock-cut tombs and Roman theatre. Afterwards you are transferred to Olympos, a laid-back village near the ancient ruins and the beach, where you spend the night in a tree house. Dinner is included tonight. Overnight in Olympos.
After breakfast you are driven to Antalya, around two hours away along the coast. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is free; you could wander the old quarter of Kaleici, stroll to the harbour or relax by the sea. Dinner and overnight in Antalya. The drive follows the coast road past pine-covered mountains and glimpses of the Mediterranean, and you arrive with plenty of time to enjoy the city. Antalya's long seafront promenade and its lively marina make for a pleasant evening walk before or after dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast you check out and transfer to Antalya Airport for your flight to Kayseri. On arrival you are driven to Cappadocia and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the extraordinary volcanic scenery around you and rest before tomorrow's tour. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. Cappadocia is famous for its soft volcanic rock, so many hotels and houses are partly carved into the stone. An evening walk around the village is a lovely way to see the fairy chimneys turn golden in the setting sun before tomorrow's guided tour reveals the region in depth.
Today you discover Cappadocia, a volcanic land whose landscape began forming some ten million years ago, leaving behind the strange rock pillars known as fairy chimneys. The Persians called it Katpatuka, the land of beautiful horses. The guided tour starts at around 09:30 with Avcilar and Pigeon Valley, named after the dovecotes carved into its cliffs. You then visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, a complex of rock-cut churches decorated with Byzantine frescoes, followed by Devrent Valley with its animal-shaped rocks and Uchisar Castle, the highest point in the area. The day ends in Avanos, a town famous for pottery made from the red clay of the Kizilirmak River. If you would like to take an optional hot air balloon flight at sunrise the next morning, let your guide know so it can be booked. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
After breakfast you are transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your flight back to Bodrum. On arrival our driver takes you to your hotel, where the rest of the day is free to unwind by the pool or the sea. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum. If you joined the optional balloon flight, the morning starts very early with a sunrise flight over the valleys before breakfast. Back on the coast, the warm sea and the slower pace of Bodrum are the perfect way to wind down after the busy days of sightseeing.
No early alarm today. Enjoy the sunshine and the turquoise sea, explore the town, browse the local markets or simply relax on the beach. If you would like something more active, there are plenty of day trips to choose from, such as an aqua park, scuba diving or a fishing tour, which can be arranged locally at extra cost. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum. In the evening the marina and the streets around Bodrum Castle come alive with cafes, restaurants and music, perfect for a last night out.
After breakfast you check out of the hotel and are transferred to Milas Bodrum Airport or Bodrum bus station for your onward journey. Our services end here, and we hope your two weeks along the Turkish coast and in Cappadocia stay with you for a long time. Depending on your flight time, you may still have a free morning for a final swim or a walk along the marina. Please keep your passport and travel documents handy, and allow enough time for the drive to the airport. Our driver will meet you at the hotel lobby at the agreed hour.

It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
