My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
This daily Cesme city tour from Didim takes you north along the Aegean to the Cesme Peninsula, one of the most loved seaside corners of Turkey, for a relaxed day of stone streets, Ottoman history and harbour views. It is an easy-paced day tour designed for travellers staying in Didim who want to see a different side of the Aegean coast without changing hotels, with a professional English-speaking guide and an air-conditioned coach taking care of every transfer.
Alacati is famous for its old Greek-style stone houses, blue and white shutters, bougainvillea-covered lanes and the historic windmills on the hill above the village. Once a quiet settlement of vineyards and farmers, it has become the fashionable heart of the peninsula, and your guide explains how the village grew before you explore its boutiques and cafes at your own pace. The second half of this Cesme day trip focuses on Cesme town itself, where a short walk leads from the shopping streets to the castle.
Cesme Castle was raised by order of Sultan Beyazid II to guard the strait facing the island of Chios, and its thick walls and towers still dominate the waterfront. Just beyond it lies Cesme Marina, an elegantly designed harbour lined with yachts, restaurants and shops, ideal for a coffee or a final souvenir stop. Entrance fees for the sites mentioned in the programme are included; meals are not, so lunch can be enjoyed wherever you like during free time. This daily excursion departs from Didim and returns there in the evening, making it a convenient way to add Alacati and Cesme to an Aegean holiday.

Alacati & Cesme Town Programme Your day starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Didim, followed by a scenic coach drive north to the Cesme Peninsula. The first stop is Alacati, where your guide introduces the history of this former farming village and its distinctive stone architecture before giving you free time to explore the narrow lanes, windmills, boutiques and cafes on your own. From Alacati the group continues to the centre of Cesme, a busy seaside town packed with shops where you can browse for local products and souvenirs. On foot you then reach Cesme Castle, the 15th-century fortress that Sultan Beyazid II ordered to protect the harbour, and your guide explains its role in the region's Ottoman past. The walk continues to Cesme Marina, a smartly designed waterfront of yachts, restaurants and shops that is perfect for a last coffee by the sea. At around 17:00 to 18:00 the coach sets off on the return journey, and you are dropped back at your hotel in Didim in the evening.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
