My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
This daily Konya Turkish bath tour invites you to slow down and experience one of the oldest wellness traditions in Turkey. With hotel pickup and drop-off and a guide to accompany you, this relaxing daily excursion takes you to a local hamam where steam, warm marble and an expert scrub leave you refreshed after days of sightseeing.
The hamam has deep roots: its bathing culture goes back to the Roman era, and the Turks carried that heritage forward, turning the bath into a social and cleansing ritual. A Turkish bath is still arranged in three areas, a cool room, a warm room and a hot room, so the body adjusts gradually to the heat before the main ritual. In the hot room, specialist attendants perform the traditional scrub, known as peeling, which removes dead skin and leaves you feeling light. The women's attendant is called a natir and the men's attendant a tellak, titles that have been used in Turkish bathhouses for generations.
This half-day outing is rated as relaxing rather than physical, so it suits travellers of all ages who want a gentle break in their itinerary. It works well as a Konya day trip on an arrival day or after a busy morning of museums, and it is an authentic local experience departing from Konya. Lunch is not part of this programme, so plan a meal before or after; bringing a change of underwear and keeping valuables at the hotel is recommended. Few daily tours in the city offer such a genuine taste of everyday Turkish tradition.

Traditional Turkish Bath Programme In the morning you are picked up from your hotel in Konya and driven to a traditional hamam. On arrival your guide explains how the Turkish bath developed from the bathing culture of the Roman era and how a visit unfolds. You then move through the three sections of the bath, starting in the cool area, passing into the warm room and finally reaching the hot room, where the steam and heated marble gently open the pores. Here the hamam's experienced attendants carry out the traditional scrub, or peeling ritual; women are looked after by a natir and men by a tellak, following customs kept alive for generations. Afterwards you have time to relax and cool down in peaceful surroundings, enjoying the calm that follows the ritual. Once your Turkish bath experience is complete, the vehicle takes you back and you are dropped off at your hotel, feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of your day in Konya.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
