My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
Swap the beach for the saddle on this fun, family-friendly camel riding tour from Oludeniz, a short half-day of gentle adventure in the hills above Fethiye. Riding calm, well-trained camels, you follow country lanes through green meadows and old gardens to the atmospheric abandoned village of Kayakoy, the famous “ghost town”. It is an easy, memorable outing for all ages, arranged by Inca Tour, a TURSAB-licensed operator serving travellers in Turkey since 2007.
The Camel Riding Tour is also arranged for visitors coming over from Rhodes for the day. Catch the early ferry to Fethiye (from Rhodes the ferry takes about 85 minutes) and you will be back on the island the same evening. Our team welcomes you at the Fethiye ferry port and makes sure the day ends in time for your return crossing. For longer itineraries we check the ferry timetable first and confirm that the full programme fits your day. Please bring your passport and check the Turkish entry requirements for your nationality before travelling.
After pick-up from your hotel you are driven to Kayakoy, the village near Fethiye known as the Ghost Town, where your guide shares its story before the camel trek begins. From the saddle you ride along narrow pathways bordered by green meadows and traditional village architecture, passing wells, fields and gardens, with your guide alongside to answer questions and help with photos. The pace is slow and steady, so even first-time riders and children feel at ease throughout the ride.
This is a light-hearted half-day that pairs a classic camel ride with the scenery and history of the Oludeniz and Fethiye countryside — a great break from the beach and a favourite with families. The tour includes hotel pick-up and return transfer and the guided camel trekking experience; comfortable clothes, a hat and sun protection are recommended.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
