Your voyage begins at Fethiye harbour and heads straight for Butterfly Valley and the celebrated Blue Lagoon of Ölüdeniz, with an evening anchorage off St Nicholas (Gemiler) Island, whose hillside is covered in Byzantine churches. The gulet then cruises east past the long beach of Patara to Aquarium Bay and the lively harbour town of Kaş, famous for its ancient theatre and its diving.
The heart of the cruise is Kekova, where you glide over the Sunken City — the Lycian ruins drowned by an earthquake some two thousand years ago — and anchor beneath the castle of Simena at Kaleköy, with its sarcophagi standing in the shallows. You chill out in the hidden coves of Gökkaya Bay, a turtle breeding ground, and call at the fishing village of Üçağız, before turning back west past Kalkan and returning once more to Butterfly Valley and Ölüdeniz. Check in at Fethiye harbour in the morning and set sail. The gulet cruises to Butterfly Valley for swimming and an optional walk up to the waterfall, then to the Blue Lagoon of Ölüdeniz, where you can watch (or join) the paragliders drifting down from Babadağ. In the evening you anchor off St Nicholas (Gemiler) Island to explore its Byzantine churches and Roman baths and to catch the sunset. Dinner and overnight on board.
You cruise east along the coast past Patara to Aquarium Bay for breakfast and a morning swim in exceptionally clear water. You call at the harbour town of Kaş, with time to browse its shops and see the ancient rock-cut theatre, and optional scuba diving for certified and beginner divers. You anchor overnight in a secluded bay towards Kekova. Overnight on board.
A day among the Lycian ruins. You glide over the Sunken City of Kekova, a two-thousand-year-old site viewed from the water only, and anchor beneath Simena castle at Kaleköy, climbing to the top for panoramic views over the bays and sarcophagi. You spend the evening in the sheltered coves of Gökkaya Bay. Overnight on board.
A gentle morning of swimming and breakfast before cruising to the fishing village of Üçağız. You cruise once more over the Sunken City, with the chance to hike again to Simena castle or admire the half-submerged tombs, and anchor for the night back in Gökkaya Bay, a breeding ground for sea turtles. Overnight on board.
You cruise back towards Kaş with time ashore for its cafés and shops and an optional second dive, then sail on to anchor in one of the beautiful bays near Kalkan, a whitewashed harbour town climbing the hillside above the sea. Dinner and overnight on board.
You wake at Butterfly Valley for a morning swim and an optional walk to the waterfall, then return to Ölüdeniz and the Blue Lagoon, with another chance to paraglide. In the evening you anchor again at St Nicholas Island to revisit the ruins or the sunset point. Dinner and overnight on board.
A lazy morning off St Nicholas Island, with an optional final swim and breakfast, before the gulet cruises to a bay near Fethiye for lunch and a last swim. You disembark at Fethiye harbour around midday. End of the cruise.
