Swap the turquoise coast for a natural wonder on this daily Pamukkale tour from Fethiye, a private full-day excursion to the dazzling white travertine terraces of the Cotton Castle and the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. Leaving Fethiye in the morning, you travel inland through the rolling hills and pine-clad valleys of south-western Anatolia to reach Pamukkale, where mineral-rich thermal water has spilled over the hillside for thousands of years to create a cascade of brilliant white basins. This Pamukkale day trip is the easiest way to see one of Turkey's most photographed landscapes in a single day, with a professional English-speaking guide and comfortable private transport throughout.
Guests staying on Rhodes can enjoy the Pamukkale Tour as a day trip from the Greek islands to Turkey — from Rhodes the ferry takes about 85 minutes, so the excursion can be planned between the morning and evening sailings. Pickup is at the Fethiye ferry terminal, and the tour is timed so you can catch the return ferry comfortably. For longer itineraries we check the ferry timetable first and confirm that the full programme fits your day. Please bring your passport and check the Turkish entry requirements for your nationality before travelling.
Pamukkale, meaning "Cotton Castle" in Turkish, is a geological marvel formed by calcium-laden hot springs that deposit soft white travertine as they flow down the hillside. For more than two thousand years travellers have come to bathe in its healing waters, and the Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis grew up around the sacred pools as a renowned spa and place of pilgrimage. Together the terraces and the ancient city form a combined UNESCO World Heritage Site, making this daily excursion from Fethiye both a scenic and a cultural highlight of any Turkey holiday.
This is a relaxed, private Pamukkale day tour designed for comfort. After the scenic drive you have free time for a lunch break (at your own expense) before your guide leads you across the travertines and through Hierapolis, explaining the Temple of Apollo, the theatre and the necropolis along the way. There is time to relax in the thermal water and, if you wish, to swim in Cleopatra's Pool, before the return transfer to your hotel in Fethiye.

Pamukkale Day Tour Programme You are collected from your hotel in Fethiye at approximately 08:00 and set off on the comfortable transfer inland toward Pamukkale, arriving around midday. The journey winds through the hills and valleys of the Aegean hinterland, with a comfort break along the way, before the white travertine terraces of the Cotton Castle come into view on the hillside. On arrival there is a lunch break (at your own account) until about 13:30. You then explore the famous calcium terraces of Pamukkale on foot and continue into the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where your guide shows you the Temple of Apollo, the Roman theatre and the vast necropolis. You may choose to relax in the natural thermal springs or take a dip in Cleopatra's Antique Pool among its sunken marble columns (entrance fee payable locally). In the late afternoon you rejoin your vehicle for the return journey, arriving back at your hotel in Fethiye in the evening.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
