The forested hills behind the spa town hide small villages such as Uvezpinar, where narrow paths wind through dense woodland. The Harmankaya area is valued by local walkers for its shaded trails and streams, and the route ends at Sudusen Waterfall, where the water drops about ten metres into a rocky pool surrounded by greenery.

Yalova Termal & Sudusen Waterfall Trek The day begins in Istanbul, where you board an air-conditioned vehicle with your English-speaking guide and head south-east towards Yalova on the Marmara coast. The drive brings you to the hills above the spa town of Termal and the small village of Uvezpinar, the starting point of the walk. After a short briefing, set off on an easy, beginner-friendly trail of around two hours, following quiet village paths and forest tracks through the green Harmankaya landscape. Your guide keeps a comfortable pace, with time to stop, breathe the fresh mountain air and take photographs of the valleys and woodland along the way. Towards the end of the walk you reach Sudusen Waterfall, where the stream tumbles roughly ten metres into a natural pool, one of the prettiest spots of the day. Lunch is served here in barbecue style on the banks of the stream, giving you time to relax beside the water before the return. In the afternoon you leave Yalova and travel back to Istanbul, where you are dropped off at your hotel.
