My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
From Cappadocia
This daily Cappadocia valleys tour from Nevsehir is a guided walking day tour through the gorges that make the region's landscape so unusual. With hotel pickup and drop-off, you hike among fairy chimneys, carved pigeon houses and soft volcanic cliffs, following one of several routes between Uchisar, Goreme, Cavusin, Ortahisar and Urgup.
Millions of years ago the volcanoes of Erciyes, Hasandag and Golludag covered this plateau in ash, which hardened into tuff. Wind and rain then carved it into cones, pillars and ravines. In Pigeon Valley, locals cut thousands of niches into the cliffs to collect pigeon droppings as fertiliser for vineyards, while Love Valley is famous for its towering chimneys capped with harder basalt. Zemi and Honey valleys are quieter and greener, and Uzengi Valley hides orchards and rock-cut dwellings far from the busier sights.
The exact combination of valleys depends on the route selected for your day, so comfortable shoes, water and a hat are recommended; the walking level is moderate. Lunch is not included. This daily excursion suits active travellers who want to see the region at walking pace, and it makes an excellent Cappadocia day trip from Nevsehir and nearby towns.

Cappadocia Valleys Hiking Programme Your day starts with pickup from your hotel in the Nevsehir and Cappadocia area, followed by a short drive in an air-conditioned, non-smoking vehicle to the trailhead with your English-speaking guide. The walking route is chosen from a set of classic valley hikes, so your day may combine some of the following. Pigeon Valley is a moderate walk of roughly 4 km from Uchisar down to Goreme, passing a green ravine lined with rock-cut dovecotes and fairy chimneys. Next, Love Valley offers a short, easy 2 km stroll among some of the tallest and most distinctive rock pillars in Cappadocia. Zemi Valley, about 5 km between Goreme and Uchisar, is lush and quiet, framed by wind-eroded volcanic formations. Honey Valley begins near the Goreme–Cavusin road and climbs gently towards Uchisar over around 5 km, rewarding you with sweeping panoramic views. Uzengi Valley is a relaxed 4 km trail through quiet, green countryside linking Ortahisar with the road from Urgup to Mustafapasa. Along the trail your guide explains the geology, the old pigeon houses and the cave dwellings you pass. When the hike is complete, you are driven back to your hotel.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
