Dalaman River Rafting Programme Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Marmaris in an air-conditioned vehicle, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. The route heads towards Dalaman, and the last stretch becomes a safari up into the mountains, passing small villages where you catch a taste of traditional rural life and enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding canyons. At the river you are given all the equipment you need. Then it is time to launch: for three to four hours you twist and turn through the Grade 3+ rapids of the Dalaman River in a two-person boat, splashed by cold, crisp water one moment and gliding through the hushed, steep-walled canyon the next, where the hum of cicadas is often the only sound. Once you are back on dry land, a barbecue meal is served by the riverside, a welcome reward after the effort on the water. In the late afternoon you board the vehicle again for the drive back to Marmaris and are dropped off at your hotel.
