You are met on arrival at Dalaman Airport, Marmaris harbour or the bus station and taken to your hotel, where four nights with breakfast and dinner are already arranged, so all you need to think about is how to spend your days in this lively resort on the meeting point of the Aegean and the Mediterranean.
The included excursion is the Marmaris Village Eco Tour, which sets off in a cheerful pink bus into the countryside behind the resort. In a small village surrounded by fields and pine-covered hills you see how families build their homes, farm their land and practise their faith; you step into the village mosque and the village school, and a local family welcomes you into their traditional Turkish house. The day also brings you into the scenery of Nomadsland, a landscape that leaves most nature lovers lost for words. On the third day you can join an optional boat trip along the most beautiful stretch of the Marmaris coastline, with sun loungers on the upper deck, a well-stocked bar, swimming stops in clear warm water and a Turkish barbecue lunch on board.
The fourth day is entirely free. Sleep in, relax on the beach, browse the local markets or choose from the many optional excursions available in Marmaris, such as Cleopatra Island, a Dalyan tour, the Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour, an Ephesus day trip, a Turkish bath, a Traditional Turkish Night, a horse safari, a jeep safari, canyon trekking, diving, rafting near Dalaman, a moonlight cruise or a Blue Cruise on a gulet. Welcome to Turkey's Aegean coast. On arrival at Dalaman Airport, Marmaris harbour or Marmaris bus station, our driver meets you and transfers you to your hotel in Marmaris. After check-in you receive your room key and the rest of the day is yours to settle in, take a first walk along the seafront promenade and get a feel for the busy marina and the lively streets of the resort. Marmaris sits on a deep, sheltered bay ringed by pine-covered hills, and the evening is a good time to enjoy the sunset over the water. Dinner is served at your hotel. Overnight in Marmaris.
After breakfast you board the well-known pink village bus for the Marmaris Eco Tour, heading inland to a small village set in the middle of beautiful, unspoiled countryside. With your English-speaking guide you observe everyday rural life: how villagers build their homes, cultivate their land, work and practise their religion. The tour includes a visit to the village mosque and the local village school, and a family opens the door of their traditional Turkish house to welcome you with warm hospitality. Along the way you also take in the scenery of Nomadsland, whose landscapes leave most nature lovers breathless. In the afternoon you return to your hotel in Marmaris, where dinner is served. After breakfast you can spend the day at leisure or join the optional daily boat trip, which is not included in the package price. The cruise follows the most beautiful part of the coastline around Marmaris, stopping in sheltered bays so you can swim in the clear, warm blue water. Relax on comfortable loungers on the upper sun deck or order a refreshing drink from the bar, while the lower deck offers plenty of seating and toilet facilities. A tasty barbecue lunch is served on board for boat trip guests, just right after a morning of swimming. Today is completely free. There is no need to wake up early: enjoy breakfast at your own pace, soak up the sunshine on the beach and swim in the crystal-clear sea, or explore the town and shop in the local markets.
