My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
This daily Pamukkale tour from Manavgat takes you to one of Turkey's most extraordinary landscapes: the brilliant white travertine terraces of Pamukkale, the Cotton Castle, and the ancient spa city of Hierapolis above them. Together they are listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for both cultural and natural value. With hotel transfers, a guide and lunch included, this daily excursion makes a long but rewarding journey easy.
Pamukkale's terraces were created by warm spring water, around 35°C, rich in calcium bicarbonate. As the water flows down a cliff almost 200 metres above the plain, it releases carbon dioxide and leaves behind limestone, building up petrified cascades and shallow basins over thousands of years. The result is an almost unreal scene of white stone and turquoise water.
Hierapolis was founded as a thermal spa by the Attalid kings of Pergamon. Its ruins include the Roman baths, a gymnasium now serving as a museum, the Temple of Apollo, the Great Theatre and the vast necropolis, where some tombs are as large as small houses. This Pamukkale day trip includes free time afterwards for Turkish crafts such as leather, textiles, onyx, jewellery and Turkish delight. Comfortable shoes, sunglasses and swimwear are advised.

Pamukkale & Hierapolis Programme Your day starts early with a pick-up from your hotel in Manavgat and a scenic drive inland in an air-conditioned coach to Pamukkale, in the province of Denizli. On arrival your guide leads you through Hierapolis, the ancient spa city founded by the kings of Pergamon. You walk past the necropolis, one of the largest ancient cemeteries in the world, with more than 1,200 sarcophagi, then continue to the Roman baths, the gymnasium that now houses a museum, the Temple of Apollo, the tomb of St. Philip and the Great Theatre. Next come the famous travertines, where warm thermal water flows over white limestone terraces, where you can stroll among the pools and admire the views over the plain. Lunch is included during the day. If you wish, you can also swim in the Cleopatra Pool, the antique thermal pool of Hierapolis, for an additional entrance fee. Before heading home there is free time to browse local Turkish crafts, including leather, textiles, onyx, jewellery and Turkish delight. Finally you travel back to Manavgat and are dropped off at your hotel.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
