My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
The daily Manavgat city and boat tour combines a leisurely cruise along the Manavgat River with time in the town itself. Setting off from the river pier at Sorgun, this day tour from Manavgat follows the green riverbanks down to the sea, pauses for a swim and lunch on board, and then lets you choose between the famous waterfall and the bustling town bazaar.
The Manavgat River rises in the Taurus Mountains and flows through pine-covered countryside before reaching the Mediterranean east of Side. At the river mouth, a narrow sandbar separates the cool, fresh river water from the warm sea, creating a rare spot where you can swim in both within a few strokes. Manavgat Waterfall, a short drive upstream from town, is a wide and low cascade where the river tumbles over rocky ledges among shady trees; it is one of the most visited natural sights in the Antalya region and a pleasant, cooling stop on a warm day.
Manavgat town centre is the commercial heart of the area, known for its busy local bazaar where villagers sell fresh, organic fruit and vegetables alongside stalls offering textiles, spices and everyday goods, plus plenty of cafes and restaurants. This daily excursion is a relaxed daily tour suitable for families, and our English-speaking guides explain the route and the boat on departure. Bring swimwear, a towel and sun protection for the river mouth. Entrance fees mentioned in the programme are covered, and the Manavgat day trip ends with a transfer back to your hotel.

Manavgat River Boat Trip & Town Programme After pickup from your hotel in Manavgat, you are taken to the pier on the Manavgat River at Sorgun, where the boat trip begins. As the boat pulls away, our guides introduce the day's programme and the facilities on board. Settle onto a lounger on the upper deck and enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine as the boat glides downstream towards the river mouth. There the group stops for a swimming break at the point where the cool river water meets the warmer sea. After the swim, lunch is served on board, with chicken or fish, rice, salad and bread. Back on land, the group splits: guests who wish to visit Manavgat Waterfall are driven there by one guide for a stay of about half an hour, while the others are taken straight to the town centre, where a meeting point is set for 15:30. The waterfall group then joins them in town. Spend your free time exploring the local bazaar, with its fresh produce from nearby villages, shops, stalls and cafes, before the transfer back to your hotel in Manavgat.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
