Dalyan Turtle Hospital & Mud Baths Programme Your day starts with a pickup from your hotel in Koycegiz, followed by a drive of roughly thirty minutes to the riverside town of Dalyan. From here the programme continues to Iztuzu Beach, home of the Sea Turtle Research Hospital and Rescue Center. With your English-speaking guide you tour the clinic and see loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta) receiving care after injuries, learning how they are treated and eventually released back into the sea. The next highlight is a stop at the well-known Dalyan mud baths, where you can coat yourself in mineral-rich mud and relax in the warm spring water. At about 12:15 the group sits down for a lunch of roughly one hour in a local restaurant. Once the touring part of the day is completed and you are back on land, the air-conditioned coach takes you back to your hotel in Koycegiz, arriving at approximately 5 pm.
