My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!

Daily Adana Trekking Tour – Kapikaya Canyon & Varda Bridge
Daily Adana Trekking Tour – Kapikaya Canyon & Varda Bridge
Escape the city and spend a full day surrounded by the wild landscapes of southern Turkey on this private daily excursion from Adana. Designed for nature lovers and active travelers, this Adana day trip combines a scenic trek through the dramatic Kapikaya Canyon with a visit to the legendary Varda Bridge, one of the region's most iconic landmarks. With a professional English-speaking guide and comfortable air-conditioned transport, everything is arranged so you can simply enjoy the trail.
- Kapikaya Canyon: Trek through a spectacular gorge rising around 200 metres high and stretching 20 kilometres in length.
- Çakıt Stream: Follow the river that has carved its way through the heart of the canyon over millennia.
- Riverside Flora: Walk among oleanders, plane trees and pines that line the canyon walls.
- Varda Bridge: Admire the monumental 1912 railway viaduct known locally as "The Giant Bridge".
- Fully Guided: Travel with a professional English-speaking guide on a moderate-level trek suitable for most ages.
Located roughly 40 kilometres from Adana, Kapikaya Canyon is one of the region's great natural treasures. Of its 20-kilometre length, about 7 kilometres can be explored on foot, making it ideal for a rewarding day tour. The Çakıt Stream flows between the towering rock walls, and the lush vegetation of oleander, plane and pine creates a striking contrast with the rugged stone scenery — a paradise for photographers and hikers alike.
After the trek, the tour continues to the famous Varda Bridge, set about 2 kilometres north of Hacıkırı Village in the Karaisalı district. Built in 1912 as part of the Istanbul–Baghdad–Hejaz railway, this colossal stone viaduct is affectionately called "The Giant Bridge" by locals and remains an engineering marvel more than a century later.
This moderate-level daily tour is suitable for travelers aged 0 to 99 with a reasonable level of fitness. We recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes, bringing sun protection and carrying water. Hotel pick-up and drop-off in Adana are included, with return to your hotel in the early evening — a perfect Adana day trip for anyone wanting to get closer to nature.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
