My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
4 Days Adana City Tour & Turkish Cooking Lesson with Stone Bridge and Museums Private Tour
Highlights of the Adana City & Cooking Tour
This four-day escape to Adana pairs the sights of one of Turkey's oldest crossroads with a hands-on lesson in the region's famous cuisine, all with an English-speaking guide at your side. Few cities have been fought over and cherished for as long as Adana, and eighteen civilizations are said to have left their mark on its streets, buildings and inscriptions.
Your city day begins at the grand Sabanci Central Mosque, the biggest mosque in Adana, with its six minarets and an interior echoing the Selimiye Mosque of Edirne. From there you cross the Stone Bridge, a Byzantine crossing from the era of Justinian in the 6th century that still carries traffic today, then admire the Great Clock Tower, a symbol of the city, and wander through Kazancilar Bazaar, the old coppersmiths' market surrounded by historic hans and a traditional hamam. The route continues to the Church of Babies, the Ethnography Museum and the Ataturk Museum, and ends at Cobandede Park, where a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings awaits.
On the third day the focus turns to the table. You join a Turkish cooking lesson in Adana, prepare the dishes yourself and sit down to enjoy the lunch you have made, then head out to the vineyards to learn how fruit wine is crafted by local winemakers. A visit to a well-known leather production centre in the region lets you shop at factory rates with a guide to steer you through the experience. With airport transfers, hotel stays, breakfasts and a relaxed pace, this is an easy way to taste and understand southern Turkey.

Day 1 Arrival - Adana city tour: mosque, bridge, bazaar and museums ▾
Your journey begins when you land at Adana Airport, where a representative of the operator greets you and accompanies you to the transfer vehicle. You ride to your hotel in Adana and check in, with the rest of the day left free to settle into the room, freshen up and recover from the trip. There is no formal programme today, which makes it a good moment to rest before the sightseeing starts. Your guide will explain the timing for the following morning, so you know exactly when and where to meet. Enjoy a quiet first evening in this historic southern city and spend the night in your hotel in Adana, ready for a full day of discoveries ahead.
Day 2 Adana city tour: mosque, bridge, bazaar and museums - Cooking lesson, vineyards, fruit wine and leather shopping 🍽 Breakfast ▾
After breakfast you are collected at 08:30 for a full-day tour of Adana's historical heart. The first stop is the Sabanci Central Mosque, the largest in the city, whose six minarets recall the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. Next comes the Stone Bridge, a Byzantine structure from the 6th century in the time of Justinian that is still in everyday use. You then see the Great Clock Tower, raised in 1882 and restored in 1935, and walk through Kazancilar Bazaar, dating to around 1519, with its old shops, historic hans and traditional bathhouse. The Church of Babies, the Ethnography Museum and the Ataturk Museum follow, and the guide introduces the rich local cuisine, from Adana kebab to desserts and spices. The last stop is Cobandede Park, a lovely place for views over the city and nature. You are then taken back to the hotel for the night.
Day 3 Cooking lesson, vineyards, fruit wine and leather shopping - Adana - Departure transfer to the airport 🍽 Breakfast · Lunch ▾
Following breakfast you are picked up at 08:30 for a day devoted to flavours and crafts. After a short morning orientation and a look around Adana, you take part in your first Turkish cooking lesson, tasting dishes from different regions of the country and preparing the lunch you will eat together. In the afternoon the group visits vineyards and learns from local winemakers how fruit wine is made, with a friendly test of your new knowledge in the evening. On the way, you stop at one of the region's well-known leather production centres, where you can buy at factory rates. The guided format spares you the pressure often felt in busy markets, so you can shop at ease while learning about the craft. After the tour you return to your hotel in Adana for the night.
Day 4 Departure - Adana 🍽 Breakfast ▾
Enjoy a final breakfast, then check out of the hotel and meet your driver for the transfer to Adana Airport. The journey is unhurried and gives you a last look at the city whose mosques, bridge, bazaar and kitchens you have come to know over the past days. Your guide wishes you a safe flight home, and the tour ends at the airport. We hope the tastes, stories and sights of Adana stay with you long after the trip, and that you will return to explore more of Turkey on another journey.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
