My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
12 Days Bodrum Holiday: Ephesus, Pamukkale, Turkish Bath and Village Tour (Private Tour)
Highlights of the 12-Day Bodrum, Ephesus and Pamukkale Holiday
This 12-day programme keeps you based in one beach hotel in Bodrum for 11 nights and mixes relaxed resort days with guided excursions to the two most famous sites of western Turkey. On arrival you are transferred from Bodrum airport or bus station to the hotel, and the next day begins with a traditional hamam: a scrub and massage on the warm marble slab followed by a glass of Turkish tea. A guided village tour takes you about 20 minutes into the hills behind Bodrum to a mountain village, where you visit the teahouse, the mosque and village houses, taste home cooking and see kilims and carpets woven by the village women.
The two long day trips start early in the morning. The Ephesus excursion covers about 185 km each way through cotton fields, with a country breakfast stop by a lake, a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary and a guided walk through the ruins of Ephesus, one of the great ancient cities of the Mediterranean world. The Pamukkale excursion, about 285 km from Bodrum, leads through forests and villages to the white calcium terraces, where you can wade in the warm spring water and explore the ruins of Hierapolis before driving back to the coast.
Several days are left free for the beach, the town and its shops, or for the optional activities offered locally at extra cost: a day trip to Dalyan with a boat ride to Iztuzu Beach, nesting ground of the Caretta caretta turtles, and the rock-cut tombs of ancient Caunos; a boat trip along the Bodrum coastline with swimming stops and the warm mineral springs of the Black Island; a Turkish Night with folk dances and belly dancing; and an off-road jeep safari across the Bodrum Peninsula through Ciftlikkoy, Etrim and Mumcular to the bay of Mazi.
Included in the price are 11 nights of hotel accommodation in Bodrum, 11 breakfasts and 11 dinners, the guided Ephesus, Pamukkale and Bodrum village tours with a professional English-speaking guide, the Turkish bath, air-conditioned transport, arrival and return transfers, entrance fees in the itinerary and hotel room taxes. Flights, city tax and the optional tours are not included. The programme is available as a private tour or as a regular group tour.

You are met at Bodrum airport or Bodrum bus station and transferred to your hotel. After check-in the rest of the day is free to settle in and explore Bodrum. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 2 Bodrum - Bodrum, Dalyan, Caunos 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾
Today you enjoy a traditional hamam. On the heated marble slab an attendant gives you a thorough scrub from head to toe, followed by a relaxing massage that works out the knots and tension. Afterwards you can unwind with a glass of Turkish tea. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Bodrum and its nightlife. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 3 Bodrum, Dalyan, Caunos - Bodrum 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾
A free day, or join the optional Dalyan day trip (extra cost). Dalyan is a small, low-rise town on the river of the same name; a boat ride of about 45 minutes brings you to the 7 km sandy Iztuzu Beach, one of the last nesting grounds of the Caretta caretta sea turtles, which lay their eggs here between May and September. Nearby are the ruins of Caunos, a former harbour city founded around the 9th century BC that now lies inland because of the river silt, famous for the rock-cut tombs of its kings and nobles. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 4 Bodrum 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾
A day at leisure with no early start. Relax on the beach, swim in the clear sea, explore the town and its markets, or book one of the many local activities such as the aqua park, scuba diving or a fishing trip. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 5 Bodrum - Ephesus 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾
Leave the busy resort behind for a mountain village about 20 minutes from Bodrum, where rural life has changed little over the centuries. Meet the villagers, known for their warm hospitality, and visit the teahouse, the mosque and local houses, where you taste village dishes and local drinks. The tour ends with a display of handmade kilims and carpets woven by the village women before the transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 6 Ephesus - Bodrum 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾
Depart at 07:00 for Ephesus, about three hours away through cotton fields. At around 08:30 stop for an open-buffet country breakfast with homemade jams, village eggs and cheese overlooking a lake. From about 11:00 visit the House of the Virgin Mary and then the ruins of Ephesus with your guide, followed by a lunch break at around 14:00. Leave for Bodrum at about 16:00. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 7 Bodrum 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾
A free day, or join the optional boat trip (extra cost, lunch on board included). The boat leaves at about 11:00 to cruise the Bodrum coastline, stopping in several bays for swimming and snorkelling. About thirty minutes out lies the Black Island, where a grotto fed by warm mineral springs, said to be good for the skin, invites a swim. Back on land at about 17:00. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 8 Bodrum - Pamukkale, Hierapolis 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾
Another day to spend as you like: on the beach, in the town, or on one of the local excursions on offer. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.

Leave at 07:00 for Pamukkale, about 285 km and four and a half hours away through forests and villages, with a breakfast stop at around 09:00. From about 11:30 visit the ancient city of Hierapolis and walk on the white travertine cascades, with the chance to bathe in the warm spring water. At around 14:00 taste some Turkish dishes, then leave for Bodrum at about 15:00. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.
Day 10 Bodrum - Bodrum Peninsula 🍽 Breakfast · Dinner ▾

After a coffee break at Ciftlikkoy you reach the highest point of the peninsula for a wide panorama, then continue through the villages of Etrim and Mumcular to the quiet bay of Mazi for lunch and a swim. Return through pine forests and mountain scenery to Bodrum at about 17:00. Dinner and overnight in Bodrum.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
