My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
5 Days Denizli City, Cooking & Turkish Bath Tour: Markets, Cable Car and Hamam (Group Tour)
Highlights of the 5 Day Denizli City, Cooking and Hamam Tour
This five-day stay turns Denizli, a busy commercial city of the inner Aegean, into a slow and well-rounded holiday. Rather than rushing through, you settle into one hotel for four nights and let each day focus on a single theme: the markets and viewpoints of the city, the flavours of the regional kitchen, and the bathing ritual that Turks have kept alive for centuries. Denizli owes its prosperity to textiles, farming and tourism, and every part of this programme reflects that everyday side of the city rather than a postcard version.
The guided city day starts at Babadaglilar Market, a multi-level building packed with towels, bathrobes and fabrics made in local workshops, and continues to Kaleici Market, a trading quarter whose roots go back roughly a thousand years and where small shops still sell handicrafts. A stop at a carpet centre introduces the regional weaving craft before a break for lunch. In the afternoon a cable car lifts you to Bagbasi Plateau, around 1,300 metres above sea level, where green slopes open onto wide views over the valley. The day closes with a walk through the busy streets of the city centre.
Day three moves into a local restaurant kitchen for a professional cooking lesson. You help prepare Denizli specialities such as Keskek, wheat slowly cooked with meat and chickpeas, Sarma, rolled stuffed leaves, and Patlican Kapama, an eggplant dish of the region, and then sit down to the lunch you made. On day four you visit a traditional hamam at a time arranged around your wishes and its opening hours, followed by free time for shopping. Airport transfers from Denizli Cardak Airport, four nights of hotel accommodation, four breakfasts, one lunch and English-speaking guidance are part of the package.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your full program, day by day β click a day to see every stop.
Day 1 Arrival - Denizli, Bagbasi Plateau βΎ
Your holiday begins at Denizli Cardak Airport, where our team meets you and drives you to your hotel in the city. Once you have checked in and received your key, there is nothing scheduled for the rest of the day. You may want to rest after the journey, or head out on foot to get a first impression of the neighbourhood around the hotel. This easy start leaves you fresh for the full programme that follows over the coming days. Overnight in Denizli.
Day 2 Denizli, Bagbasi Plateau - Denizli π½ Breakfast βΎ
After breakfast your guide collects you for the city tour. The morning is spent in Denizli's trading heart: first Babadaglilar Market, a multi-storey building filled with locally produced textiles, then Kaleici Market, a commercial quarter in use for around ten centuries where traditional handicrafts are still sold. Next comes a carpet centre showing the weaving craft the region is known for. After free time for lunch, the cable car carries you to the green upland of Bagbasi Plateau, roughly 1,300 metres high, with sweeping views. You finish with a stroll through downtown Denizli before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Denizli.
Day 3 Denizli π½ Breakfast Β· Lunch βΎ
Following breakfast you are taken to a local restaurant for a professional Turkish cooking lesson. Working alongside the instructor, you discover the tastes of the Denizli region and prepare dishes such as Keskek, a hearty mix of wheat, meat and chickpeas, Sarma, leaves rolled around a filling, and Patlican Kapama, a local eggplant recipe. The food you cook becomes your lunch. Afterwards you head to the city centre for free time and shopping, and later you are transferred back to the hotel. Overnight in Denizli.
Day 4 Denizli π½ Breakfast βΎ
After breakfast you are picked up for a visit to a hamam, the traditional Turkish bath. The timing depends on your preference and the bath's available hours. Bathing culture is an important part of Turkish life and is still practised in towns and cities across the country, so this is a relaxing way to share in a living tradition. After the hamam you continue to the city centre for some free time and shopping, then return to the hotel, with the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Denizli.
Day 5 Departure - Denizli π½ Breakfast βΎ
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Your time is free until the scheduled transfer, when you are driven to Denizli Cardak Airport for your flight home, bringing the tour to an end.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized β from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
