My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
6 Days Corum Tour: Hattusa, Alacahoyuk, Cooking Class & Turkish Bath (Private Tour)
Highlights of the 6-Day Corum and Hittite Heritage Tour
Six days in Corum give you time for both of the things this corner of north-central Anatolia does best: Hittite archaeology and generous home cooking. The province lies within the Black Sea region and holds Hattusa, the capital of the Hittite Empire and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Return transfers via Amasya Merzifon Airport, five nights in a hotel in Corum and a professional English-speaking guide make the programme easy to follow, while free afternoons let you explore the city independently.
History comes first. In Corum you visit the 13th-century Grand Mosque, the Clock Tower in the centre and the Corum Museum, which displays finds from Alacahoyuk, Bogazkoy-Hattusa, Pazarli and Kussaray. The next day is spent among the Hittites. At the Alacahoyuk Museum, exhibits from the Chalcolithic, Early Bronze, Hittite and Phrygian periods are on view, the most famous being the 13 royal tombs of the Early Bronze Age, alongside ethnographic pieces such as local carpets, wooden farm tools, a weaving loom and Ottoman-era weapons. At Hattusa you see the Lion Gate, the Sphinx Gate, the Yerkapi tunnel gate, the King's Gate and the Great Castle, before arriving in Bogazkale, the town beside the ancient capital.
The pace then softens. A professional cooking lesson at a local restaurant teaches you lamb tandoori, Keskek and Sikma baklava, which you eat for lunch before free time in the city centre. On the fifth day you are taken to a hamam to enjoy the warmth of a traditional Turkish bath, timed to your preference and the bath's hours, with the rest of the day free. Your stay ends with a transfer back to the airport on day six.

What Our Travellers Say
Real, verified reviews from travellers who explored Turkey with us.
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
