This five-day package is built for hunters who want to pursue the Anatolian red stag in central Turkey without having to organise permits, transport or accommodation themselves. After landing at Esenboga Airport in Ankara you are driven to your hotel in the Beypazari area, the historic market town west of the capital that serves as your base for the whole stay. The heart of the trip is three full hunting days in Tekke Mountain National Park, with driven and stalking hunts accompanied by a game ranger and guide. Breakfast is served at the hotel every morning, packed lunches are provided on each hunting day, and transfers between the airport, the hotel and the hunting grounds are made in an air-conditioned private vehicle.
Known to zoologists as Cervus elaphus maral and sometimes called the Mid-Eastern red stag, the Anatolian red stag is every bit as powerful as its European relatives. Mature stags can carry antlers weighing 11 to 14 kilograms and reach a body weight of 300 to 350 kg, which makes them a highly prized quarry. The rut varies from area to area but mainly takes place from around mid-September to mid-October, the season when the bellowing stags are at their most active. Game permissions are arranged for you in advance, so your days in the field can be devoted entirely to the hunt, while the game ranger and guide take care of the practical side on the ground.
Each hunting day follows the same simple rhythm: breakfast at the hotel, a drive to Tekke National Park, a day in the field with a packed lunch and a return to Beypazari for the night. On the final morning you check out after breakfast and are taken back to Ankara airport. The price includes four nights of hotel accommodation, four breakfasts and three packed lunches, meet-and-greet service, private airport transfers, three days of driven or stalking hunting, game permissions, and the services of a game ranger and guide. Shooting and trophy fees, wounding or miss fees, skinning and trophy preparation are charged separately, as are flights and insurance.

The rest of the day is free, so you can rest after your journey, meet the other members of your hunting party and prepare your equipment for the days ahead. No hunting is scheduled on arrival day. Breakfast is served at the hotel before you are driven to Tekke Mountain National Park for your first day of red stag hunting. Together with the game ranger and guide you take part in a driven or stalking hunt for the Anatolian red stag, depending on conditions in the field. A packed lunch is provided so that you can stay out during the day. In the evening you are taken back to your hotel. Overnight in Beypazari.
After breakfast at the hotel you return to Tekke National Park for another full day in pursuit of red stag. Your game ranger and guide accompany you throughout, and your game permissions remain valid for the hunt. A packed lunch keeps you supplied in the field until you are driven back to the hotel at the end of the day. Overnight in Beypazari.
Following breakfast you set out once more for Tekke National Park for the third and last day of hunting. This is your final opportunity to secure a red stag, again with the support of the game ranger and guide, and with a packed lunch provided for the day. In the evening you return to the hotel for your last night in Beypazari. Overnight in Beypazari.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then check out and transfer to Ankara Esenboga Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your red stag hunting package.
