My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
Five unhurried days in Istanbul, the only city in the world to straddle two continents, planned in-house by Inca Tour, a TURSAB-licensed operator, and guided throughout in English. From a central hotel in the heart of the old city you cover the great Byzantine and Ottoman monuments of Sultanahmet, cruise the Bosphorus between Europe and Asia, and sail out to the car-free Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara. It is a relaxed, private-paced introduction to a city of empires, bazaars and water.
Your days begin in the historic peninsula. On the guided Istanbul city tour you walk the Hippodrome, step inside the monumental Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque with its vast dome and Byzantine mosaics, and admire the cascading domes and blue tilework of the Blue Mosque. There is time to browse the spice and sweet stalls around the Asil Efendi bazaar for Turkish delight, ceramics and handicrafts before returning to your hotel. A second full day takes you onto the water for a Bosphorus cruise, gliding past the waterfront palaces of Dolmabahce, Yildiz and Ciragan, the mosque at Ortakoy, the Rumeli Fortress and the Beylerbeyi Palace, then crossing to the Asian side to climb Camlica Hill for a panorama of minarets, bridges and sea.
A further day is set aside for the Princes' Islands, a cluster of green islands in the Sea of Marmara where motor traffic gives way to bicycles and horse-drawn carriages. You cruise out past the old city skyline and the Maiden's Tower, land on Buyukada to wander its pinewoods and Belle Epoque villas, and enjoy a seafood lunch before returning to the mainland. With four nights' hotel accommodation, a private air-conditioned vehicle, airport transfers and an English-speaking guide, this is an easy, flexible city break that blends imperial history with the everyday rhythm of life on the water. Prices are per person.

Welcome to Türkiye. On arrival at the airport you are met and privately transferred to your hotel in central Istanbul, where you receive your room key. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, stroll the surrounding streets of the old city or watch the sun set over the domes and minarets. Your guide confirms the plan for the days ahead. Overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast you set out with your guide for the historic peninsula. You begin at the Hippodrome, the ancient chariot-racing ground with its Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column and Column of Constantine, then enter the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque) to admire its blue Iznik tiles and cascade of domes. Across the square stands the great Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture with golden mosaics beneath its soaring dome. After a lunch break you browse the Asil Efendi bazaar for spices, Turkish delight, ceramics and handicrafts before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
You are collected at 08:30 for a day on and around the Bosphorus. A boat cruise carries you up the strait past the waterfront Dolmabahce, Yildiz and Ciragan palaces and the pretty mosque at Ortakoy, with views of the Rumeli Fortress built in 1452 and the Beylerbeyi Palace, the Ottoman sultans' summer residence. You then cross the Bosphorus Bridge from Europe into Asia and climb Camlica Hill, the highest point in the city, for a sweeping panorama. A stop at a carpet- and craft-weaving centre completes the day. The evening is free. Overnight in Istanbul.
Today you escape the city for the Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara. A cruise takes you out past the old-city skyline, the Maiden's Tower and the shores of Uskudar to Buyukada, the largest island, where cars give way to bicycles and horse-drawn carriages. You tour the island's pinewoods and Belle Epoque mansions, enjoy free time on the beaches and a seafood lunch at a harbour restaurant, then sail back to the mainland in the late afternoon. Overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast and check-out you are privately transferred to the airport for your onward journey, with time to reflect on a week spent among Istanbul's monuments, bazaars and waterways. End of the tour.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
