My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
From Kusadasi
This daily Pamukkale tour from Selcuk brings together one of Turkey's most striking natural wonders and a great Roman spa city in a single full day tour. With hotel transfers, an English-speaking guide and lunch included, this daily excursion lets you walk the dazzling white terraces of the Cotton Castle and explore the ruins of Hierapolis without any planning on your part.
Arriving in Kuşadası on a cruise ship? The Pamukkale Tour is one of the shore excursions we regularly arrange for cruise guests calling at the port of Kuşadası. Because it runs as a private tour, we plan the timing around your ship: your guide and driver meet you at the cruise terminal, and the programme is adjusted to your all-aboard time. Tell us how many hours your ship stays in port and we will confirm that the full programme fits comfortably. Send us your ship name and the date of your call in Kuşadası and we will confirm availability.
Holidaying on Samos or Patmos? The Pamukkale Tour is an easy day trip from the Greek islands: take the morning ferry to Kuşadası, join the tour, and sail back in the evening (from Samos the ferry takes 45 minutes; from Patmos the ferry takes about 3 hours). We meet you at the Kuşadası ferry port with your private guide and vehicle and time the programme to the ferry schedule. For longer itineraries we check the ferry timetable first and confirm that the full programme fits your day. Please bring your passport and check the Turkish entry requirements for your nationality before travelling.
Pamukkale, meaning Cotton Castle in Turkish, was formed over thousands of years as mineral-rich hot water flowed down the hillside and left layers of white calcium carbonate. Above the terraces lies Hierapolis, founded in the Hellenistic era and later a flourishing Roman city whose springs were prized for their healing properties. Visitors came from across the empire to bathe here, and its baths, gates and streets still give a clear picture of a sacred spa town.
Nearby Karahayit offers a different face of the same geothermal activity, with reddish springs coloured by iron. Practical notes: on this Pamukkale day trip you can wade along the travertines barefoot, as shoes are not permitted on the terraces, and you may choose to relax in the natural spring waters, so pack a swimsuit and towel. Sunglasses and sun cream are useful on the bright white rock. Entrance fees for the visits in the programme are included.

Pamukkale & Hierapolis Programme In the morning your guide meets you in your hotel lobby in Selcuk and the journey inland to Pamukkale begins in a comfortable air-conditioned, non-smoking vehicle, travelling through the fertile valleys of the Aegean hinterland. You reach Pamukkale at around midday and sit down to lunch, with a break until about 13:30. The afternoon is dedicated to sightseeing: your guide leads you through Hierapolis Ancient City, passing the Domitian Gate, the colonnaded street and the cathedral while explaining how this spa town grew rich around its thermal waters, and visits include the Pamukkale Museum, the red waters of Karahayit and the gleaming travertines. Then comes time to walk around the white calcium terraces of the Cotton Castle, where warm water trickles over the rock into natural pools, and you have the option of soaking in the warm natural spring pools. After an unforgettable afternoon among the white cliffs and ancient stones, you are driven back to your hotel in Selcuk.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
