The Kusadasi City Tour is an easy day trip from the Greek islands: take the morning ferry to Kuşadası, join the tour, and sail back in the evening (from Samos the ferry takes 45 minutes; from Patmos the ferry takes about 3 hours). We meet you at the Kuşadası ferry port and time the programme to the ferry schedule. For longer itineraries we check the ferry timetable first and confirm that the full programme fits your day. The name Gazibegendi roughly means "the veteran liked it": local tradition says that when Ataturk visited the hill and admired the view, the town's mayor named the spot in his honour. Pigeon Island, known locally as Guvercinada, is the town's best-known landmark; its castle walls date back to the Byzantine era and were later strengthened to defend the harbour against raiders, so the island also offers lovely views back towards the coast.

The Caravanserai is a solid Ottoman structure that once sheltered merchants and their goods and today hosts Turkish night shows. From there the Kusadasi day trip continues on foot through the centre, where a carpet workshop explains how hand-knotted rugs are made. Lunch, entrance fees for the visits in the programme and an English-speaking guide are included, and you are dropped back at your hotel at the end of the day. Comfortable shoes are useful for the walking part of the tour.
