Our daily scuba diving tour from Marmaris takes you by boat to two carefully chosen dive sites along the coast, where clear water, rocky reefs and curious marine life make an ideal setting for first-time divers and certified divers alike. Instruction, equipment and a sandwich lunch on board are all part of this relaxed daily excursion.

• Two dives of about 30 minutes each at two different sites off Marmaris

Marmaris sits where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean, in a deep bay sheltered by pine-covered hills. The sea here is calm for much of the year and visibility is often excellent, which is why the area has become one of the favourite places in south-west Turkey to try diving for the first time. Underwater you will find rock formations, sandy patches and plenty of fish that come close to divers, so even a short introductory dive feels like a real discovery of the underwater world.

This Marmaris day trip suits complete beginners as well as experienced divers. Certified divers choose their own gear on the way out and enter the water first with an instructor, while beginners receive full instruction and then dive in pairs, each pair accompanied by a professional instructor. Friends or family members who prefer not to dive can book as non-divers and enjoy swimming in the clear bay; bring your own mask and snorkel or buy one on the boat.

Hotel pick-up and return transfer by air-conditioned vehicle, an English-speaking guide, diving equipment and instruction are included. Participants must be between 14 and 65 years old. A DVD of your dive can be purchased on board, and drinks are paid separately. It is a full and rewarding daily tour for anyone curious about life beneath the surface.
