Chimera (Yanartas) & Olympos Day Tour from Belek
Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Belek, travelling in a fully air-conditioned, non-smoking vehicle towards the slopes of Mount Chimaera. Accompanied by your professional English-speaking guide, you will head to Yanartas, situated around 350 meters above sea level. The journey and uphill walk to the flames takes approximately one hour. At the top, you will spend about an hour admiring the mysterious eternal flames, which burn continuously thanks to natural methane-rich gas escaping from the rock — a phenomenon that has fascinated travellers since ancient times and gave rise to the legend of the fire-breathing Chimera monster.
