At the summit of Mount Nemrut — a UNESCO World Heritage Site at 2,150 metres — you reach the first-century BC tomb-sanctuary of King Antiochus I, where colossal stone heads of Zeus, Apollo, Hercules and the goddess Tyche gaze out from the eastern and western terraces.
