From the morning meeting point you set out onto the Lycian Way, the waymarked trail that links the ancient cities of Lycia, with panoramic views over the 18-kilometre sweep of Patara Beach. Within the protected ruins of Patara you see the amphitheatre, the Lycian Parliament House and the lighthouse said to be the oldest in the world, before driving to Firnaz Bay to begin the walk beside the Roman aqueduct. After about two hours on foot you reach a rest stop for a BBQ lunch and fresh spring water, then continue along the Lycian path towards Patara before the return transfer.

The trekking is rated easy and suits most ages and fitness levels, making this a rewarding day for hikers, history lovers and photographers alike.
