My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
The daily Cappadocia Red Tour from Kayseri is a guided full-day tour that links the best-known sights of central Cappadocia in a single, well-paced route. Leaving Kayseri in the morning, this day tour combines Byzantine cave churches, a castle carved into a rock peak, a riverside pottery town and two valleys filled with fantastic rock formations, with lunch served along the way.
Goreme Open Air Museum is the heart of this daily excursion. Between the 4th and 13th centuries, monks carved churches, chapels and living quarters into the soft volcanic tuff here, and many walls still carry vivid frescoes. The site is often described as an early centre of monastic education in Anatolia. Uchisar, once a landmark on the Silk Road, rises above the surrounding countryside, and its rock castle is a superb place for panoramic photographs before the group breaks for lunch.
In the afternoon the route turns north to Avanos, where clay from the Red River has been shaped into pottery since Hittite times and craftsmen still use traditional wheels. Pasabag, also called Monks Valley, is said to have sheltered the hermit St. Simeon in the 5th century, while Devrent Valley, nicknamed Imagination Valley or Pink Valley, invites you to spot animal shapes in its stone cones. This Cappadocia day trip from Kayseri suits travellers with limited time; wear comfortable shoes, as the walking level is moderate.

Cappadocia Red Tour Programme Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Kayseri, followed by a comfortable drive in an air-conditioned vehicle into the Cappadocia region. The first visit is the Goreme Open Air Museum, where your English-speaking guide leads you through rock-cut Byzantine churches and monastic cells used from the 4th to the 13th century, explaining the stories behind their frescoes. Next comes Uchisar, the highest point in Cappadocia, where you stop to photograph Uchisar Castle and the wide panorama of valleys below it. A lunch break follows, with vegetarian, halal and meat options available. In the afternoon you continue to Avanos on the banks of the Kizilirmak River, a town whose pottery tradition reaches back to the Hittites, and watch a local potter shape clay using age-old methods. The route then leads to Pasabag, also known as Monks Valley, with its striking multi-headed fairy chimneys and the cave once associated with St. Simeon. The final stop is Devrent Valley, the Imagination or Pink Valley, where you look for the famous camel-shaped rock. After this last walk, you are driven back to Kayseri and dropped off at your hotel.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
