This 2-night Cappadocia group tour shows you the region's highlights at a relaxed pace – Byzantine cave churches, cities dug deep underground and walks through valleys that change colour with the light. You are met at Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport, stay in a hand-picked hotel and explore with a small group and a professional English-speaking guide.
In the north of the region you climb to the viewpoint of Uçhisar Castle, the tallest rock citadel of Cappadocia, and step inside the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose rock-cut churches such as the Dark Church preserve vivid Byzantine frescoes. The mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys of Paşabağ (Monks Valley), the animal-shaped rocks of Devrent (Imagination Valley) and the pottery town of Avanos on the Red River complete the day.

Your guide collects you after breakfast for the classic North Cappadocia tour. Take in the panorama from Uçhisar Castle, the highest rock citadel in the region, visit the rock-cut churches and frescoes of the Göreme Open-Air Museum, and walk among the fairy chimneys of Paşabağ (Monks Valley) and Devrent (Imagination Valley). After lunch in a local restaurant you stop in Avanos, famous for its pottery made from the red clay of the Kızılırmak river. Overnight in Cappadocia.
