Cappadocia Mountain Trekking Day Tour Programme After pick-up from your hotel in Goreme, Cappadocia, you transfer south toward the Aladaglar Mountains and arrive at Sarimehmetin Yurdu, the trailhead at around 1800 metres. Once the base is set up, your guided trek begins through serene pine forests that open into the picturesque Kucuk Mangirci Valley, with sweeping views of the north face of Ortaburun Summit. The route climbs steadily to Alaca Yayla, a high plateau at about 2500 metres where, depending on the season, you may meet traditional semi-nomadic camps. Here a picnic-style lunch is served in the heart of nature, surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes. After lunch you follow the trail toward the entrance of Golgeliyurt Valley, then descend back to the campsite via the Oluksekisi area, another region known for its seasonal nomadic settlements, before transferring back to Cappadocia. Total trekking time is approximately four to five hours.
