Five days give you time to enjoy Giresun at an unhurried pace. Based for four nights in one hotel on the eastern Black Sea coast, you combine a full sightseeing day along the shore with a cooking lesson and a visit to a traditional Turkish bath. Transfers from and to Ordu-Giresun Airport, an English-speaking guide and comfortable air-conditioned transport are arranged for you, so you can simply enjoy the green hills, sea views and relaxed rhythm of this region.
The coastal excursion starts at Tirebolu Castle, a seaside fortress on a rocky outcrop, and continues to Giresun Castle, the hilltop citadel above the city. For those who wish, a boat trip to Giresun Island is possible as an optional extra. In Ordu you take the cable car up Boztepe for a sweeping panorama over the town and bay, then have free time and stroll through the centre and along the beach before a chocolate factory visit on the way back to Giresun.
On the third day a restaurant chef introduces you to Giresun cuisine in a hands-on class, with salads and desserts on the menu, and the dishes you prepare become your lunch. The fourth day is all about relaxation in a hamam: Turkish bath culture goes back to Roman bathing traditions, and you pass through the cold, warm and hot rooms before the tellak or natır performs the classic scrub. Four nights of hotel accommodation, four breakfasts, one lunch, guiding, transfers, entrance fees in the programme and hotel, tour and transfer taxes are included.

Arrive at Ordu-Giresun Airport, where you are greeted and taken to your hotel in Giresun for a four-night stay. After check-in you have the rest of the day free to settle in, rest after travelling or explore the area around the hotel on foot. There are no planned visits today. Overnight in Giresun.
Breakfast is followed by a drive to Tirebolu Castle, set on a headland that juts into the Black Sea. After some forty minutes on the coastal road you arrive in Giresun, where an optional boat trip to Giresun Island is available for an extra fee. The guide then leads you up to Giresun Castle for wide views of the city, and you can have lunch with a view (not included). In the afternoon you continue to Ordu, take the cable car up to Boztepe and enjoy some free time, then walk through the town and along the beach. A visit to a chocolate factory on the return drive completes the day; arrival in Giresun is around 8 p.m. Overnight in Giresun.
After breakfast you go to a local restaurant where the chef teaches a cooking class, and your guide explains every detail along the way. You prepare dishes from the Giresun kitchen, including salads and desserts, and then enjoy the meal you have cooked as your lunch at the restaurant. Afterwards you return to the hotel and have the rest of the day to yourself. Overnight in Giresun.
After breakfast you are collected from the hotel and taken to a Turkish bath. The hamam is arranged in cold, warm and hot sections, a layout inherited from the baths of the Roman era. Once you have warmed up, the attendants, called tellak for men and natır for women, carry out the traditional scrub and peeling ritual. Relaxed and refreshed, you are driven back to the hotel.
