Welcome to the Turkish Riviera. Upon your arrival at Dalaman Airport or the Fethiye Bus Terminal, you will be met by our representative, who will take you to your Fethiye hotel. After checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. You may choose to stroll through the local marina, relax by the hotel pool, or take your first walk along the scenic coastline. Dinner is provided at the hotel to conclude your first day in Turkey.
After breakfast, we depart from Fethiye Harbor for a full-day boat cruise across the Gulf of Fethiye. This excursion visits several beautiful spots, including the shallow, family-friendly waters of Flat Island (Yassica Islands), the historic remains at Cleopatraβs Bath, and the former naval base on Dockyard Island. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board while surrounded by turquoise seas. This day is dedicated to swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the Mediterranean breeze before returning to the harbor in the late afternoon for dinner at your hotel.
Today we head into the Lycian countryside on a 4x4 jeep safari. The first visit is to the hillside site of ancient Tlos, with rock-cut tombs, a Roman theater, and an Ottoman fortress. We will enjoy refreshments at the lush Yakapark trout farm before heading to the impressive Saklikent Gorge. After wading through the canyon's cool spring waters, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Xanthos and relax on the expansive sands of Patara Beach. We return to Fethiye in the early evening for dinner.
Enjoy a full day of relaxation or independent exploration in Fethiye. You are free to lounge on the beach, visit the local markets to browse for traditional handicrafts, or simply unwind at your resort. If you are seeking more activity, you may choose to participate in optional local excursions such as river rafting, snorkeling, scuba diving, or experiencing a traditional Turkish bath. Dinner will be served at your hotel in the evening, allowing you to rest and prepare for the adventures ahead.
We travel to the village of Ucagiz to begin a sea kayaking adventure in the enchanting Kekova region. This guided experience allows you to paddle over the sunken city, where ancient ruins are visible beneath the water's surface. You will explore Lycian rock-cut tombs, Roman baths, and the Byzantine church remains. We will also visit the village of Simena to hike up to its hilltop castle for panoramic views of the coastline. After this immersive historical experience, we return to Fethiye for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today we explore the region on horseback, riding through the evocative ruins of the Kayakoy Ghost Village. This abandoned Greek settlement provides a unique atmosphere with its empty stone houses and silent chapels. Our trail continues through fragrant pine forests and olive groves. Alternatively, you may choose a mountain trail that offers spectacular views over the famous Blue Lagoon of Oludeniz. This day combines gentle adventure with cultural heritage, offering plenty of photo opportunities. We return to the hotel for dinner.
Your final full day is reserved for your own preferences. Whether you wish to spend the day swimming in the Mediterranean, shopping for souvenirs in the town center, or booking an optional activity like paragliding, the choice is yours.
