5-Day Antalya Family Tour – Aquarium, Kaleici, Rafting & Sandland

Welcome to Turkey! Our driver meets you at Antalya Airport or Antalya bus station and transfers you to your hotel. After check-in you receive your room keys and the rest of the day is free. Children can enjoy the pool while parents relax, or the family can head out in the evening to see Antalya's harbour and promenade lit up at night. Dinner is included tonight. Overnight in Antalya. After breakfast you set off on a guided day that mixes sightseeing with shopping. The first stop is a jewellery centre, where you learn about the region's gold and why it is so highly valued. You then continue to the Antalya Aquarium and walk through its famous tunnel, one of the longest aquarium tunnels in the world, surrounded by sharks, rays and countless colourful fish from many different seas. The tour also includes a visit to the Antalya Wax Museum before your guide leads you into Kaleici, the historic heart of the city. Here you wander along cobbled streets lined with restored Ottoman houses and discover monuments that span many centuries. There is free time to look for souvenirs, and if you would like to do some extra shopping, simply ask your guide, who will be happy to arrange it. Lunch is included during the day. After breakfast you are picked up from your hotel and driven to the river valley of the Koprulu Canyon area. Before rafting you stop on an old stone bridge for photos, then put on your helmet and life jacket. With your rafting guide you enter the canyon where the river begins, swimming about 400 metres through its cool water to reach the waiting boats. Then the fun starts as you paddle through rapids, stop for a swim at several spots and look out for wildlife along the wooded banks. Halfway through you take a break from the river for an exciting buggy or quad ride of about half an hour, before returning to the boats to continue rafting. Around 45 minutes later you leave the raft again to fly through the air on a zipline course. After reaching the finish point you enjoy a three-course lunch at the riverside restaurant of the activity provider, where you can also watch the video of your day and buy photos if you wish. You are then driven back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.

After breakfast you visit Sandland, the Antalya Sand Sculpture Museum on Lara Beach, which stretches for about 10 kilometres along the coast. Every year a team of sand sculptors from around the world turns some 10,000 tons of sand into giant, detailed sculptures across an area of around 7,000 square metres, built around a new theme each season. Open all year, Sandland is one of the largest sand sculpture exhibitions in the world. Children and adults can try their own hand at sand sculpting in the activity area, watch the festival documentary, and look at the sun, moon and planets through telescopes and on a giant LED screen. If you stay into the evening, the LED lighting system bathes the sculptures in colour, a magical sight. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the beach or the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.

After breakfast you check out of the hotel. At the agreed time our driver transfers you to Antalya Airport or Antalya bus station for your onward journey.
