About Kayseri Ethnographic Museum

The Kayseri Ethnographic Museum is housed within the historic Kayseri Fort, a two-part structure consisting of an inner castle and an exterior castle, built in 1224 during the Seljuk period. This large architectural complex serves as a cultural institution showcasing ethnographic exhibits that document the region's heritage and traditions, and it includes exhibition halls, a mosque, and event spaces.

The fort itself is a significant example of medieval Seljuk construction and remains an important historical landmark in Kayseri's city center. The complex includes amenities such as a café and restaurant for visitors, and it has undergone restoration work in recent years.
