Anadolu Hamidiye Battery Çanakkale Wars History Museum

The Anadolu Hamidiye Battery Çanakkale Wars History Museum is located in Çanakkale Merkez, Barbaros Mahallesi, and covers approximately 104,609 square meters, comprising the history museum, a culture park, and a miniature Gallipoli area. The battery was constructed in the 1890s by Sultan Abdulhamid II and designed by Asaf Pasha; it features 10 ammunition depots and 9 gun platforms arranged semi-circularly. The interiors of the bonnets are made of rubble stone, while the exteriors are constructed from finely cut stone.
