Alçıtepe 1915 Trench and Red Crescent Hospital Reenactment Exhibition

Located in Alçıtepe village on the Gallipoli Peninsula, this site offers immersive recreations of the conditions on the WWI Gallipoli front, including the '1915 Trench and Red Crescent (Hilal-i Ahmer) Hospital Reliving Areas'. Visitors experience a hospital animation with details on wound treatment, field stretchers and wartime medical operations. The trench exhibition recreates trenches set as close as 8-10 meters apart, with sound installations depicting the violent moments and combat scenarios of the Turkish-Anzac battles at Arıburnu.
