Samos Island Day Trip ProgrammeYou are collected from your hotel in Izmir early in the morning and driven to Kuşadası port. After passport control at Kuşadası port you board the ferry for Samos and cross the narrow strait to the Greek island in about 1 hour 20 minutes, watching the Turkish coast fall behind and the green hills of Samos rise ahead.On arrival in Samos the day is yours. You can wander along the harbour promenade, sit down for lunch in a seaside taverna, swim at a nearby beach or explore the island's history, from the ancient sanctuary of Hera to Pythagorio, the birthplace of Pythagoras. In the late afternoon you return to the port for the ferry back to Kuşadası. From Kuşadası port you are driven back to your hotel in Izmir.
