Marmaris Fishing Trip Programme You are collected from your hotel in Marmaris and transferred in an air-conditioned vehicle to the harbour, where your 12-metre fishing boat is waiting. With no more than 12 anglers on board, there is plenty of space, and the crew hands out rods, bait and the equipment needed to locate and land fish. The boat heads out to fishing grounds that are usually less than half an hour from the harbour, so the lines go into the water quickly and stay there for most of the trip. The captain, who has fished these waters for many years, chooses the spots, explains which species live in the bay and gives helpful advice throughout. Friends or family members who prefer not to fish can join as non-fishing guests and simply enjoy the calm sea, the hills and the gulls overhead. Lunch is served during the outing, with vegetarian, halal and meat choices. At the end of the half-day session the boat returns to Marmaris harbour, and you are driven back to your hotel.
