My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
This Alanya cable car and city tour brings together three of the town's best-loved sights in one relaxed afternoon-to-evening day tour. A daily tour that suits families and first-time visitors alike, it departs from Alanya with hotel pickup and an English-speaking guide, and ends with sunset over the bay from high above the rooftops.
Damlatas Cave was discovered by chance in 1948 during quarrying work near the harbour. Its interior holds layers of dripstone formed over thousands of years, and the warm, very humid air inside has long been associated locally with relief for asthma and other respiratory complaints. A short walk away, Cleopatra Beach stretches west of the castle rock; legend links its name to the Egyptian queen, said to have bathed here, and today it ranks among the busiest and best-loved beaches on the Turkish Riviera.
The cable car climbs from the beach area to the upper slopes of the peninsula crowned by Alanya Castle, the great Seljuk fortress built in the 13th century under Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad. From the gondola you look down on red-tiled roofs, pine woods and the long line of the walls, then step out onto a viewing terrace for the evening light. This Alanya day trip is gentle in pace, making it an easy daily excursion for all ages. Entrance fees listed in the programme are covered, while lunch and personal spending are not, so we suggest having a meal before pickup.

Damlatas Cave, Cleopatra Beach & Cable Car Programme Your guide collects you from your hotel in Alanya and the group heads first to Damlatas Cave, set at the foot of the castle peninsula. Inside, you walk among dripping stalactites and rising stalagmites while the guide explains how the cave was found and why its moist, warm air has been linked with easing breathing problems. From there you continue to Cleopatra Beach, a Blue Flag stretch of soft sand where you can take in the sea, the waves and the view back towards the castle rock. The highlight of the afternoon is the cable car ride: the gondola rises over the neighbourhood rooftops and the wooded slopes below the old fortress walls, giving a fresh angle on Alanya Castle and the whole bay. At the top there is time on the viewing terrace to relax and watch the sunset over the Mediterranean, a peaceful pause high above the town. Afterwards the guide leads the group back down and the vehicle returns you to your hotel, with drop-off at around 20:00. Lunch is not part of the programme, so plan your meal before or after the tour.

My husband and I chose Inca Tour for our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The boutique hotel selection was beautiful and the Bosphorus dinner cruise was so romantic. Thank you for making our trip special!
It was important for us to have a guide who spoke Russian, and Ender was wonderful. He explained every detail at Dolmabahce Palace. The Princes Islands day trip was a beautiful break from the busy city.
Our guide Ender was incredibly knowledgeable about Turkish history. The hot-air balloon ride at sunrise in Cappadocia was the highlight of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized — from airport pick-up to the last d...
Ender was our Italian-speaking guide and we felt like family. He took us to local spots tourists never see. The hotel choice in Sultanahmet was perfect for walking everywhere.
10+ years later we still talk about our Cappadocia balloon ride and the Bosphorus sunset cruise. Some memories are timeless. Thank you Inca Tour!
